Behind the project

The context, experience, and delivered result. Follow the project links to explore the work firsthand.

01

The challenge: explain a game you play with your hands

A visitor may know nothing about WOWCube. The launch page needs to introduce both the adventure and the idea of physical play. Its job is different from the documentation site: create interest, make the premise understandable, and give prospective players a clear next step.

02

The experience: bring the mine into the browser

Pixel-art scenery, oversized display type, and orange and cyan accents establish the game's identity. The page moves from the introduction into game goals and cube controls, with a release announcement and store links making availability clear.

03

The supporting detail: a place to learn the game

The field guide provides a route into movement, hazards, scoring, and level guidance. This separates the short introduction from deeper player information, so the landing page can build interest without carrying every instruction.

04

The result: the web side of a physical product

The delivered site gives Dwarf Dig its own home on the web. Together with the game and developer documentation, it shows how one product can need several distinct experiences, each shaped around the people using it.

Delivered outcomes

  • A dedicated public destination for the released game.
  • Connected paths to the WOWCube store and the player's field guide.
